WHO ARE WE
Raindrops Foundation is a youth-led NGO registered in 2016 to involve youth participation in civil society, and work on the themes of social justice, inclusivity, and upliftment of the marginalised. Since then we have been working on projects related to gender equality, rural development, and persons with disabilities.
With a dedicated team base in 4 cities, and events across India, we have reached out to more than 30,000 beneficiaries in 4 years. Some of our major interventions include providing flood relief to 4,000 families in flood-hit Bihar, a nation-wide relief campaign during COVID-19, and a long-running rural development initiative in Kanpur Dehat.

Featured Initiatives
01.
— Grameen Sansad
Named after Chanakya, ancient India’s most famous policy maker, Chanakya Niti Grameen Sansad (Chanakya Niti Rural Parliament) aims to introduce the debating culture to smaller towns and villages in a bid to decentralise policy-making and sensitizing the students towards social causes. Grameen Sansad is a platform to discuss and deliberate upon all such issues affecting the life of villagers. The participants not only get a chance to speak in front of their peers and seniors, they also get awareness about India’s policy making and legislative system.
